Mama's boy

I asked my mom some of theses questions over this past weekend and these were her answers:

How often did I read when I was younger? Did I like to read?
You started to read around the age of 6. You got really into it at the age of 7 and became a bookworm. Then you got interested in sports and books went out the window with your Ninja Turtle toys

What subjects was I interested in as a child?
As a child you were very good at math but was always interested in science and of course literature and spelling. Also you always had an infatuation with animals.

What the hell went wrong?
You grew up, got into highschool, got a car, figured out girls didn't have cooties, went to parties... the list goes on but you will always be my little baby boy :). Just grew up way too fast.

Did I turn things in on time?
At the most part I made sure you turned in things earlier but now you're at college and hopefully know what to do by now. However you have always been a responsible boy around the house.

What was I like as a student?
You made straight A's and your first B on your report card in 6th grade and cried. As a student you made fairly good grades usually all A's and teacher's always said good things about you.

What are some of the ways I learn best? (learning processes)
You never really studied at home. I just always pushed you to do your homework but besides that never saw you study and you still were making good grades so I never worried about your abilities. You made me very proud

How do I study? With music on? At the last minute?
Your studying was always playstation or xbox. Then you would study the morning of the test on the way to school.

What did I like to do outside of school when I was younger?
Outside of school you were my little bookworm nerd when you were younger.

What career do you picture me in? What kind of jobs would I be good at?
I've always pictured you as a doctor or lawyer but that's not what I want to push you to become. As a child you always told me you wanted to become a veterinarian. You choose your career path and I know you will be successful.

What kind of person do you see me as?
As my son you better be the sweet, disciplined, well-behaved, gentleman as I raised you to be. But you're in college...have fun :) I love you my son.

  1. You weren't supposed to actually ask her what the hell went wrong! At least your mom has a great sense of humor. Nice post.
